Hire Typeform Expert — forms people actually finish

Typeform’s conversational format — one question at a time, beautifully designed — consistently outperforms traditional forms on completion rates. But pretty forms with bad logic are still bad forms: most Typeforms I see are linear questionnaires with no branching, no scoring, and no integration beyond an email notification. An expert builds Typeforms with logic jumps, calculators, hidden-field attribution, and CRM routing that turn completions into qualified pipeline.

Why Omer

Why hire a Typeform expert through a Fractional CTO

Typeform’s value is conversion, and conversion is designed — question psychology, logic depth, and integration quality. I build forms as engineered funnels and wire them into your CRM and analytics so every completion is measured and routed.

I stay through the first optimization cycle to prove the lift. If your forms look nice and convert poorly, contact me.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do conversational forms really convert better?

Yes — one-question-at-a-time formats typically lift completion 20–40% over equivalent traditional forms, especially on mobile.

Can Typeform score leads?

Yes — calculator and logic features compute scores from answers, enabling instant qualification, routing, or personalized results pages.

Does it integrate with our CRM?

Yes — native integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, and others, plus webhooks and API for custom stacks. Hidden fields carry attribution through.

Typeform vs Jotform?

Typeform wins on conversational UX and completion rates for lead capture. Jotform wins on payment collection, HIPAA-friendly forms, approvals, and sheer feature breadth.

Can we embed Typeforms in our site?

Yes — full-page, popup, slider, and inline embeds with design customization to match your brand.

The real work

What changes when you hire a Typeform expert instead of building it in-house

People who search to hire a Typeform expert rarely have a blank page. Usually there's a live form that collects responses but leaks them: a big drop-off halfway through, or completions that sales ignores because they aren't qualified. My first move isn't design, it's the data. I open Results, read the question-by-question drop-off in Insights, check average time-to-complete and the mobile-versus-desktop split, then pull the last few hundred responses to see which fields people skip or fake. That audit tells me whether the real problem is length, question order, a mandatory field killing momentum, or a thank-you screen that goes nowhere - so I fix the cause, not the symptom.

Then I rebuild the flow. I reorder questions so the easy, low-commitment ones come first and email or phone comes after the respondent has invested a few answers. Logic Jumps route each segment down its own path and exit poor-fit respondents early instead of forcing them to finish. I use calculator variables for live scoring and quote estimators, Recall to pipe earlier answers back into later questions and the ending so it reads like an actual conversation, and hidden fields to carry UTM and campaign data through. For embedding I choose the format deliberately - full-page for a dedicated landing page, popover or side-tab for an existing page - rather than defaulting to inline because it was the first option.

The part most in-house builds miss is measurement. A Typeform embedded on your site runs inside an iframe, so your normal GA4 and Meta pixel events never fire on submit, and teams quietly under-report conversions. I wire the Embed SDK callbacks - onSubmit, onReady, onQuestionChanged - to push events into the dataLayer through GTM, so completions and even per-question progress reach analytics. For routing I prefer webhooks into Make or a small serverless function over brittle Zapier zaps, add deduplication so one person doesn't spawn three CRM records, and stamp every record with the attribution the hidden fields captured. Good looks like this: every completion scored, routed, measured, and traceable back to the ad that paid for it.

The mistakes I fix most: asking for email on question one, long-text boxes where a multiple choice would do, no early exit so unqualified people either bail or pollute your pipeline, relying only on the email notification instead of a tracked integration, and leaving Typeform's default thank-you screen instead of redirecting with answers piped into the URL. I'm also honest about fit. Typeform is superb for conversational lead capture, but it's the wrong tool for heavy payment flows, complex multi-approver intake, or when cost per response matters at very high volume, where Tally, Fillout or Jotform win. When you hire a Typeform expert, you should expect that candour rather than a tool pitch.

Questions buyers ask

What does it cost to hire you for a Typeform project?

Most engagements are fixed-scope. A focused rebuild of a single form - audit, new logic, integration, and tracking - is a smaller project; a multi-form system with scoring, a calculator, and full CRM routing is larger. I scope after seeing your current form and its response data, then quote a flat fee so there are no surprises. The Typeform subscription is separate, and note that Stripe payments and some integrations require the Business plan.

How quickly can you turn this around?

A single-form rebuild with logic, scoring, and one integration is typically a week or two of calendar time, depending on how fast I get access and content from you. A larger assessment or multi-step funnel with several integrations runs longer. The slow part is rarely the build - it's deciding the questions and qualification rules, so I run that as a short working session up front to keep things moving.

What do you need from us to start?

Editor access to your Typeform account, access to the live form's responses so I can read the drop-off data, your CRM or destination details, and a clear definition of what a qualified lead means to you. If the form is embedded, I'll want GTM or site access to fix tracking. When you hire a Typeform expert, the most valuable thing you bring is clarity on exactly who you want to capture - I handle the rest.

Can you fix our existing Typeform instead of starting over?

Often, yes. If the foundation is sound I'll fix the logic, reorder questions, repair integrations, and add tracking in place, which is faster and cheaper than a rebuild. I only recommend starting fresh when the existing build is so tangled that untangling it costs more than rebuilding it properly, and I'll tell you that honestly after the audit rather than defaulting to a rewrite to pad the invoice.

Typeform vs Tally or Fillout - which should we use?

Typeform leads on polish, conversational feel, and completion on lead-capture forms, which is why most people hire a Typeform expert in the first place. Tally and Fillout are cheaper, strong on long or complex forms, and Fillout offers deeper native integrations and conditional logic at a lower price. If budget per response or heavy form logic dominates, I'll point you there; if the form is a branded first impression that has to convert, Typeform usually wins.

Can you make conversions track properly when the form is embedded on our site?

Yes, and this is commonly broken. Because an embedded Typeform runs inside an iframe, standard analytics and ad-pixel events don't fire on submission, so teams under-report conversions and misjudge ad performance. I use Typeform's Embed SDK callbacks to push submit and progress events into GTM and your dataLayer, so GA4, Meta, and Google Ads record real completions and you can optimise campaigns on accurate numbers instead of guesses.
